KATHMANDU, May 23: Mega Bank Nepal Ltd has started online bank account opening facility. Issuing a statement on Tuesday, the bank said that it expects the new service will allow potential account holders to initiate an account from their home itself or while traveling. “One can easily open an account by visiting the bank's official website and filling up the form with the details required,” the bank said in the statement, adding: “One should also upload a copy of their citizenship certificate or passport and a passport-size photograph.”
