Speaking at the inauguration of CPN-UML‘s representative gathering at Dhulikhel on Saturday, Khanal said that some people might want to cut down and weaken my role as a chairman of the party but it will not just affect me but the party as a whole.
He also added that since Maoist have come into government after a revolt, they should be responsible and lead the peace process to its logical end, which is not possible for an individual party, thus all party should be equally committed towards the process.
Similarly, senior UML leader and former prime minister, Madhav Kumar Nepal said that praising other parties and being bias UML cannot move forward.
Constitution writing process and peace process is not able to pick up the pace as Maoist is not interested in bringing the processes to its logical end, Nepal opined.
