The Speaker had called a meeting of the three major parties on Monday morning to end the obstruction of the House. Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress President Sher Bhahadur Deuba, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, Vice Chairman Bamdev Gautam, and Chief Whip Bhanubhakta Dhakal are present in the meeting which is underway at the Speaker’s office.
Eight opposition parties including the main Opposition CPN-UML have been obstructing the House after the government registered the constitution amendment bill in Parliament.
