Medical team formed for treatment of Dr KC

KATHMANDU, July 26: Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital has formed a 9-member medical team for the treatment of Dr Govinda KC who is in hunger strike for 27 days, the longest so far.

KATHMANDU, July 26: Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital has formed a 9-member medical team for the treatment of Dr Govinda KC who is on a hunger strike for the last 27 days, the longest so far.


Executive Director of the hospital Mandira Wanta has formed the team led-by Dr Pradeep Krishna Shrestha, department head of general physician and nephrologist Dr Divya Sing Shah on Thursday. Shah is personal doctor of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

The team will do treatment and routine check-up of Dr KC. Director Wanta has directed the team to make necessary arrangements and to coordinate with hospital management department and the other medical team for the treatment of Dr KC.


Dr Subhash Acharya, Dr Pramesh Sundar Shrestha, Dr Surya Devkota, Dr Pankaj Panta, Dr Rabin Nepali, assistant administrator Tek Bahadur Karki and nursing officer Ganga Thapa are in the team.
