According to Area Police Office, Barhabise, the couple had been fighting at around 8 am on Sunday. Upon seeing the fight, neighbor Bangjen and his son, Sanga, had gone to separate them. [break]The deceased had instead hit out at Sanga, demanding what business they had in intervening in the quarrel. Sanga fell on the floor with blood all over the body.
"After seeing blood all over my son, I thought he died. So I took the very khukuri and killed her," Bangjen said.
Bangjen was caught on his way to Barhabise for the son´s treatment. Police inspector Heramba Sharma said that Bangjen had confessed his crime. "I killed her in a fit of anger," Bangjen told the police.
Sanga, who is in critical condition was referred to Kathmandu for further treatment by the Primary Health Center, Barhabise, police said. The dead body was brought to Barhabise for post-mortem. Further investigations are under way.
