MANGALBARE, Ilam, March 8: An unidentified group has assaulted two employees of the Chiyabari FM in Ilam Wednesday night.
Some unidentified people attacked radio technician Prakash Neupane and marketing manager Krishna Pathak at around 10 pm on Wednesday when they were going back to their room after closing the FM radio office.

Pathak has sustained serious injuries from the attack, the family sources said. He has wounds in his head, legs and hands while Neupane's condition is said to be normal. They are being treated at the Ilam Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Chiyabari FM management has drawn the serious attention of the local administration toward the incident and bring the attackers to book. Chiyabari FM radio station manager Prem Adhikari said the incident showed that media persons were insecure in the district and urged the district administration to look into the matter seriously.
