Media misinterpret 'secret agreement' of party unification: NCP Chairman Dahal

DHARAN, June 1: The governing Nepal Communist Party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has complained that the 'secret agreement' among the top leaders in course of party unification was misinterpreted by media. Addressing a cadres' orientation and interaction at Sunsari constituency no 1 here today, Chairman Dahal said prime minister and chairman of the party, KP Oli could run the government for five years.

"We are in continuous dialogue. KP Oli can run the government for five years. I kindly request all of you not to be sway by media reports. With the agreement, we run the government for five years," he reminded before the cadres.


He addressed the orientation for five minutes and reiterated that they could make the stand after learning much from the party issues. The Chairman, however, said the remaining issues of party unification would be settled within two days. Chairman Dahal arrived here to attend the conclusion of a program on Ubhauli festival in Dharan.
