KATHMANDU, May 1: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has blasted Nepali media for “creating instability” in the country.
In a video message on the occasion of International Labor’s Day, PM Oli accused the media of disseminating information with an intention of dismantling ‘hard-won’ stability. “It is apparent that some media and people are attempting to drag the country back to instability and backwardness,” he said.

He insisted that stability, peace and prosperity of the country have alarmed some media houses and that they are doing everything to foil the success.
He claimed that the favorable changes have been possible only because of sacrifice and struggles guided by right ideology and principles. PM Oli also warned that efforts to create instability would not be tolerated by the government, the ruling Nepal Communist Party and the people.
Earlier on January 14, Oli had also criticized the editors for not having the courage to publish news of ‘good works’ by this government.
