KATHMANDU, July 28: The US' international development agency, Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), is allowed to continue projects in Nepal. The Finance Ministry shared the information that the US government had written a letter on July 24, informing the continuation of MCC projects.
The projects expedited under the MCC as per the agreement Nepal government had with the MCC were suspended after the executive order of US President on January 20, 2025. However, it was reconsidered, thereby lifting the suspension on July 24, according to the Finance Ministry.
