KATHMANDU, April 5: Kirtipur Municipality is set to organize the Province 3 inter-municipal first Mayor Cup Basketball Tournament from May 5.

Speaking at a press meet organized in the capital on Wednesday, the organizers informed that no teams have been finalized yet, while each team is allowed to have eight players from inside the municipality and four from outside. The tournament, which will be concluded on May 12, will reward the winner with Rs 50,000. Likewise, the runner-up will take home Rs 30,000, while the third-placed team will get Rs 20,000. Also, the best player and the top scorer of the tournament will be prized with Rs 5,000 each.
