Indian Field Office at Biratnagar to be removed 'soon', claims PM Oli



Prime Minister and Chair of Communist Party of Nepal KP Sharma Oli expressed that the Indian field office at Biratnagar would be removed ‘very soon’. Speaking at the newly constituted parliamentary party meeting at International conference building, New Baneshwor, PM Oli opined, “India is ready to revise 1950's treaty and the government will remove the Indian field office from of Biratnagar soon."

The domestic sharemarket recorded total turnover of one billion 81 million 941 thousand rupees this week. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange Limited, a total of 2,329,440 units of share were traded in this week, which is less than 45.96 percent compared to the previous week. Last week, 4,812,770 units of share of 181 companies were traded and the turnover was Rs 2,000,019,000. 


Saudi Arabia to show all World Cup matches illegally

 

A diplomatic row means Saudi Arabia will be pirating all 64 matches of the World Cup after banning the sports channel in rival Qatar, which owns the broadcast rights. The extraordinary situation arose following a spat between the two countries last June which led to beIN Sports being caught up in a trade ban between the two countries. 


UN Votes to Send Investigators to Gaza 


The UN Human Rights Council voted Friday to send a team of international war crimes investigators to probe the deadly shootings of Gaza protesters by Israeli forces. According to Agence France Presse, the UN's top human rights body voted through a resolution calling on the council to "urgently dispatch an independent, international commission of inquiry"- the UN rights council's highest-level of investigation.
