PALLEKELE, Sri Lanka, July 5: Captain Angelo Mathews scored his fifth career test century to help revive Sri Lanka's innings and set a tough target of 377 for Pakistan to chase on day four of the third test on Monday.
Mathews (122) was the last man dismissed in the final over before lunch with Sri Lanka's second innings total on 313.

Mathews started his innings on Sunday with his side in deep trouble at 35-3. He swiftly turned things around, however, with partnerships of 45 with Upul Tharanga and 81 with Jehan Mubarak for the fourth and fifth wickets, respectively, and then a seventh-wicket stand of 117 with wicketkeeper Dinesh Chandimal.
No team has chased more than 352 to win a test match in Sri Lanka before.
