KATHMANDU, Jan 8: A wildfire has spread to the Los Angeles area of the United States. The fire, which flared on an area of 20 acres, has swallowed up 1,200 acres in just a few hours.
Fire Chief Christine Crowley said that 30,000 people have been ordered to evacuate the area. As many as 13,000 buildings are at risk from the raging fire.
Thousands flee homes in Tripoli as fighters battle on outskirts
Some video footage shows thick smoke shooting up from areas near homes in the Pacific Palisades area. People living here are seen leaving their homes and vehicles.
Warnings have been issued for millions of people in California. The fire is still spreading.
