AAINA PAHARA, Aug 23: The passengers on board the bus involved in an accident in Marsyangdi River this morning are confirmed to have arrived in Nepal from Maharashtra for a 10-day visit. At least 104 Indian pilgrims had arrived in Nepal from Maharatsra of India in three buses two days ago for a 10-day tour of Nepal.
The team came from Bhusal village in Jalgaon district of India’s Maharashtra State on three buses. After visiting Pokhara for two days, all the three buses had left for Kathmandu on Friday morning. Tragically, one of the buses was involved in an accident in the Marsyangdi River on Friday morning.

Madhav Prasad Paudel, chief of the Armed Police Force (APF), Kurintar, said that most of the passengers traveling in the three buses were families and relatives.
At least 31 passengers rescued
According to Paudel, at least 31 passengers have been rescued in the bus accident that occurred at Aaina Pahara, Tanahun district.
So far, 14 people are confirmed dead in the accident while their identities are yet to be disclosed.
