Indian tourist bus plunges into Marsyangdi River in Anbu Khaireni, 40 passengers suspected to be on board the bus

KATHMANDU, Aug 23: An Indian-registered passenger bus has fallen into the Marsyangdi River at Aaina Pahara, Anbu Khaireni-2, in Tanahun district.

KATHMANDU, Aug 23: An Indian-registered passenger bus has fallen into the Marsyangdi River at Aaina Pahara, Anbu Khaireni-2, in Tanahun district.

According to DSP Dipak Kumar Raya, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Tanahun, the bus fell into Marsyangdi at  around 11.30 AM on Friday.


DSP Raya said, “It is said that the passenger bus fell from Aaina Pahara, Ambukhairenin-2 into Marsyangdi River. It has been reported that there are 40 passengers in the bus. We have reached the incident scene. Further details are yet to be received.”
