KATHMANDU, Aug 23: The identities of the passengers aboard the ill-fated bus with Indian registration number UP 53 FT 7623, which tragically plunged into the Marsyangdi River, have been revealed.
The bus, traveling from Pokhara to Kathmandu, was carrying 43 Indian nationals when it met with the accident near Anbu Khaireni Rural Municipality-2, Tanahun, at around 11:30 AM on Friday.
The accident has resulted in the loss of at least 18 lives till 6 PM. Police officials confirmed that all those travelling in the ill-fated bus are Indian nationals.
Although the deaths of 27 persons have been confirmed, police officials said they have not been able to determine identities of the deceased in the accident.
