The party reached a conclusion to this effect after the central committee members presented different proposals of federalism. The Maoist party has already declared 13 autonomous provinces.
During the meeting, some members had proposed six, others nine and still others stuck to current proposal of 13 states. "We will gather facts and figures and listen to the concerns of the Janajatis and other political parties before finally arriving at the final conclusion," said Maoist spokesperson Dinanath Sharma.
