At a meeting with Nepali Congress (NC) leaders on Thursday, the CPN (Maoist) also agreed to dissolve the paramilitary structure of its militant youth wing – Young Communist League (YCL) – within next three weeks.

Minister for Information and Communications Krishna Bahadur Mahara said the NC has agreed to end the House standoff following the agreement.

Prime Minister and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to inform the parliament about the agreement in his address Thursday evening.
