KATHMANDU, May 11: The UCPN (Maoist) has turned the offer of Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal to hold ´meaningful dialogue´.

The Maoists argued that they will hold talks only after the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led government steps down.

The party concluded that it is meaningless to hold talks with the government.

Prime Minister Nepal had written a invite letter requesting the Maoists for talks on Sunday, a day after the Maoists withdrew their general strike.
