Maoists fix date for sister wings' nat'l convention

KATHMANDU, Sept 4: UCPN (Maoist) has fixed the date and venue for the national convention of its sister wings. A meeting of the party´s office bearers on Monday in the capital also laid out a working procedure for the general convention.



"We will hold national convention upholding the principle of democratic centralism," said party spokesperson Agni Sapkota. [break]



According to him, the national convention of YCL will take place in Kathmandu from November 30 to December 2 while the national convention of All Nepal Teachers Association will be held in Kathmandu from November 24-26.



Likewise, All Nepal People´s Cultural Federation will hold its national convention from December 1-3 in Nepalgunj while All Nepal Women´s Association (Revolutionary) will hold its national convention from December 9-11 in Chitwan.



Similarly, the Nepal Dalit Liberation Front´s national convention will take place from December 10-13 in Kathmandu, All Nepal Trade Union Federation´s from December 11-14 in Kathmandu, Tamu National Liberation Front´s from November 23-25 in Pokhara and Tamang National Liberation Front´s from November 27-29 in Kathmandu.
