“Surya Bhakta Adhikari transferred this land to his ownership using his power otherwise this was a public land,” Drona Babu Siwakoti, Maoist’s assistant in-charge of Nawalparasi district, said. “We have taken the land back, don’t call it capture.”[break]
Siwakoti informed that the party would use the land to put 200 landless people in the 72-ropani land. Hundreds of people thronged the land after hearing that the Maoists are distributing the land.
