KATHMANDU, Jan 26: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has submitted a political report on the current political situation.
Chairman Dahal submitted a written report on the current political situation at the Standing Committee meeting of the Maoist Center that began at the party's central office in Paris Danda, Koteshwar on Thursday.
Maoist Center Vice Chairman Krishna Bahadur Mahara informed Republica that Chairman Dahal briefed the meeting about contemporary politics. Dahal gave a briefing about the situation where he had to leave the pre-election alliance and cooperate with CPN-UML.
The meeting congratulated the Prime Minister and Party Chairman Dahal on his election as new Prime Minister and wished Deputy General Secretary Barshaman Pun a speedy recovery.
Vice Chairman Mahara informed that the meeting also paid tributes to those who died in the Yeti Airline plane crash in Pokhara. The Standing Committee meeting, which is scheduled to hold discussions on the ruling coalition, expansion of the party organization and other political issues, will continue at 11 am on Friday.
