KATHMANDU, Oct 26: CPN (Maoist Center) has taken to the streets nearly four months after the party was ousted from power.

KATHMANDU, Oct 26: CPN (Maoist Center) has taken to the streets nearly four months after the party was ousted from power.


CPN-UML Chairman K P Sharma Oli became the prime minister after severing its alliance with the Maoist Center. The UML forged an alliance with the Nepali Congress (NC) to form a new government.

The march described as a ‘vigilance rally’ proceeded through Bhadrakali and Shahid Gate before converging at Kathmandu Mall. The procession then turned into a warning assembly at Bhrikuti Mandap, proceeding through Bagbazar and Exhibition Road.
