Dahal calls on Maoist constituents to unite
Saturday's meeting made criteria for the selection of convention representatives. Provincial in-charges of Maoists reported in the meeting. The Maoists have decided to hold a statute convention on February 13-15.
Likewise, along the party line of preventing the party committees from becoming oversized, a 151-member Central Committee has been proposed. Currently, the Maoist Center has 385 central members and 199 alternate central members. After questions were raised about the size of the Central Committee, the Statute Drafting Committee has prepared a draft accordingly.
