Maoist cadre abducted

GULMI, May 30: A cadre of the UCPN (Maoist) was abducted by cadres of Rastriya Janamorcha on Friday evening allegedly for attacking a cultural program organized by the latter on Thursday.



Maoist cadre Dilaram Gautam was abducted from Dhauladip of Bisukharka VDC.



The two sides had also clashed during a volleyball tournament organized by the Sunshine Youth Club the same day. During the fighting, Janamorcha cadres Nar Bahadur BK and Iswari Poudel were injured.



The Janamorcha cadres who had come from Batakachaur, Hugdishir and other VDCs of Baglung abducted Dilaram after they did not find the Maoist cadres involved in the attack.
