Maoist army yet to set vacancy date

KATHMANDU, Aug 5: Maoist´s People´s Liberation Army (PLA) has received no application until Thursday afternoon for its vacant posts.



Talking to RSS, PLA spokesman Chandra Prakash Khanal ‘Baldev’ said, "It´s because we have not yet fixed the date for recruitment process."



Khanal said PLA has only announced the recruitment policy. “We are still discussing whether to include 3,400 candidates who were selected on March 2, 2009,” he said. “The meeting of the general staff will make public the authentic decision.”



PLA announced vacancy just a day after the Nepal Army (NA) announced advertisement for vacant posts on August 2.
