Management students interact with industrialists

KATHMANDU, May 12: Nepal Management Symposium (NMS) 2017, a two-day event organized by the student council of Kathmandu College of Management (KCM) was held on Tuesday and Wednesday at Hotel Radisson Kathmandu.

With the theme of “Where managers of today converse with tomorrow”, the event was organized to educate participants about current scenario and opportunities available in the market. It further aimed at providing a common platform for the professionals as well as students where they could interact with each other and understand major emerging issues of the market.

The organizers in a statement said that they major objective was to make the participants able to take right decision in right time in their field of work.

The chief guest of the event was Minister for Industry, Nabindra Raj Joshi. The event hosted college students from various parts of the country and corporate participant from various industries. The symposium was divided into four sessions which were financial economics, entrepreneurship, marketing and branding, leadership and management. 

Each session comprised of speaker’s presentation, panel discussion and question and answer round. Senior President of Aditya Birla Group Ajit Ranade, Managing Director of CG, Nirvana Chaudhary, Director of One to Watch, Willem Grimmicnk, Faculty member of FMS Delhi University, Harsh V Verma, President of Nepal Banker’s Association, Anil Keshary Shah, Managing Director of Buddha Air, Birendra Basnet were the panelists of the session from relevant areas.
