BAITADI, March 2: A shooting incident critically injured 22-year-old Surendra Bista, a resident of Chausila Kalagaun, in Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-8, Baitadi, leading to his death.
Police Inspector Baldev Badu stated that Surendra died on the way to the district hospital for treatment. His elder brother, 40-year-old Karna Bahadur Bista, shot him last night.

Around 8 PM on Saturday, Karna Bahadur and Surendra argued in the village over financial transactions. Police Inspector Badu stated that the preliminary investigation confirmed that Karna Bahadur shot Surendra shortly after the dispute.
Police are actively searching Karna Bahadur and continuing the investigation.
Inspector Badu from the District Police Office, Inspector Rajendra Saud from the Area Police Office in Patan, and Sub-Inspector Ganesh Kadayat from the Khochlek Police Post have deployed a police team to the incident site.
