Ranjit Pokharel, a resident of Dhangadhi-2, was looted by the gang numbering four persons at around 8:30 pm near Kasaha road section along the east-west highway as he was on the way to home from Jayanagar of India, police said.
Meanwhile, property worth millions of rupees was reduced to ashes when a fire broke out in a house owned by Parshuram Saha of Ramnagar Mirchaiya-2 last night. The fire also destroyed a guest house located nearby Saha´s house. An operating generator sparked the fire.
Police doused the fire after two hours with the help of the locals.
