Their elder son, Suraj Tharu, 14, who went to his mother´s bedroom after watching television, found the mother murdered. He cried as he informed the villagers about his mother´s death.
Madhav Budhathoki, inspector of Area Police Office, Butwal said that by the time family members and villagers knew, Ram Bahadur had fled. Sita had returned to Nepal two months ago after staying in Saudi Arabia for two years.
After postmortem, the body was sent to Lumbini Zonal Hospital. Last rites of the deceased were performed on Friday.
Police informed that Ram Bahadur was being searched at possible places.
