Man killed in buffalo attack

SAPTARI, Jan 22: An elderly person died after being attacked by a buffalo at Kabilasa VDC in the district on Sunday. 

The deceased is 71-year-old Bachchilal Yadav of the same place. 

He was attacked by the he-buffalo when he tried to chase it away from the wheat field, said Area Police Office, Pato. 

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at local Gajendra Narayan Singh Zonal Hospital, police added.
