Man killed in accident

KATHMANDU, May 16: A man was killed after a tanker hit his motorcycle at Jambudanda of Jorpati VDC in Kathmandu Saturday night.



Critically injured Bhim Bahadur Kshetri, 42, a permanent resident of Sindhupalchowk and currently living in Kathmandu, died while being treated in TU Teaching Hospital after the accident.



The tanker heading to Narayantar from Gaurighat hit the motorcycle (Ba 2 Kha 9415) coming from opposite direction.



“The body has been kept at the hospital for post mortem,” said Police Inspector of Metropolitan Police Circle, Bouddha, Fadindra Prasai.



A police search is underway to search the absconding tanker driver, he said.
