KATHMANDU, Feb 15: Police have arrested a youth from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for possessing 13 thousand 180 Euros.

Suraj Kumar Rai of local Chandragiri Municipality, who was about to board a Qatar Airways flight from Kathmandu to Doha, was apprehended with the illegal foreign currency by police at TIA on Tuesday. He was going to Germany. 


Police said the foreign currency was found hidden inside a book which Rai was carrying in his handbag. RSS
