Man drowns, missing in Narayani River

CHITWAN, Sept 4: A man has gone missing while he was taking sacred bath at the Narayani River, at Devghat area, in Chitwan district on Wednesday morning.



Thaneshwar Banjade, 75, who had been living at Gorkhali Elderly Home, went missing on the River at around 7:00 am while he was bathing, said police by quoting witness.



According to Police at Devghat, Banjade, a permanent resident of Argauli VDC-7, Arghakhanchi, had been living in the elderly home for last three years.



Police teams have been deployed to search the missing man since the incident was reported, police said.
