LAHAN, August 19: A 35 – year – old man succumbed to fatal injuries last night after getting rammed by a jeep at Karjanha rural municipality – 2 here in Siraha along the East – West Highway. 

Nabin Rai, a native of Nanupatti – 7 of Dhanusa, was serious injured after his bike (Ja 8 Pa 1268) was struck by a jeep (Ba 2 Jha 2966) belonging to the Department of Road. 

Rai died in course of treatment at the Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar, Area Police Office, Mirchaiya said. Police have taken the jeep driver under control and impounded the vehicle. 

Meanwhile, an 11 – year – old boy has died from snakebite at Sakhuwanankarkatti rural municipality of Siraha. 

Parsuram Sadaya's son, Bhagawat, of Isda rural municipality – 1 was bitten by a poisonous snake while playing. He died on the way to Ram Prasad Uma Memorial Hospital, Sitapur Police Post said. RSS
