The deceased has been identified as Hari Lal Moktan, 55, of Phungling VDC-3. [break]
The District Police Office, Taplejung, said Moktan committed suicide from a rope tied to the ceiling beam of the house of his neighbour Bir Bahadur Pariyar.
Police, quoting Moktan´s family members, said his had gone to pluck cardamom, but they later found him hanged.
They have been claiming that Moktan was murdered as the body had blue marks.
