KATHMANDU, May 6: A team from the Narcotic Drugs Control Bureau Kathmandu and the Area Police Office Gajuri has arrested a person for possessing opium and marijuana this morning.

The police team arrested Kalche Bohara, 46, of Uttar Behada, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-4, Kailali district in this connection. He was arrested from a gravel road at Sotikhola of Gajuri rural municipality-1, Dhading district.

Police confiscated 978 grammes of opium and 47 kilogrammes marijuana hidden in the false bottom under the back seat of a Maruti Suzuki car (registration plate number DL 3 CAD 7081). According to police, Bohora will be prosecuted under the narcotics substance peddling charge.
