BAITADI, Dec 28: Patan Area Police Office has arrested Ramesh Singh Ayer, 30, of Sigas Rural Municipality-7 on the charge of murdering 55 years old, Katak Bohara.
According to the chief of the police office, Inspector Rajesh Shahi, Ayer was arrested on Monday from near his home.

Bohara, who went to see a jatra (procession) at Kalpokhari temple on the night of November 29, was found dead on December 2.
Police had launched an investigation after Bohara’s relatives filed a complaint that Bohara had succumbed to head and other body parts injuries. The police had increased surveillance on Ayer after he was on the run since the day of the incident.
Inspector Shahi said, “Ayer and Bohara had met at the jatra and they had an argument over a loan given by Bohara to Ayer. We came to know that they had a huge fight regarding the loan.” According to the Area Police Office, Patan, a case has been registered against the detainee and further investigation is underway.
