Other malls like Civil Mall, Rising Mall, Civil Trade Center and United World Trade Center (UWTC), among others, have remained closed since Saturday.""We are finding it difficult to serve our customers as most of our buildings have suffered damage," Min Bahadur Gurung, managing director of Bhat-Bhateni Supermarket, told Republica. According to Gurung, all the outlets of Bhat-Bhateni in Kathmandu Valley are in need of maintenance.

Similar is the case with KL Tower, Chabahil. The mall has not been able to start full-fledged operation after the earthquake as more than 20 shops have suffered damage. "Many shopkeepers are reluctant to open for business because of the fear of earthquake," Ramesh Kashepati, manager of KL Tower, told Republic". "Only a few shops have opened and we are making do with few workers."
Kashepati said Saturday's earthquake has created cracks in different corners of the building.
Civil Mall, Rising Mall, Civil Trade Center and United World Trade Center (UWTC) have not begun operation as they have suffered damage in their buildings.
Meanwhile, UWTC of Tripureshwar is planning to resume operation from Sunday. Talking to Republica, Sandeep Hirachan, managing director of UWTC, said: "We need to mend minor damages in the buildings before we resume operation. We plan to resume operation once some construction works are completed."
Shopkeepers in Kamaladi-based Rising Mall are reluctant to return to business because of the fear of earthquak".
