Nepal restricted Talwar Cricket Club to 142/9 in 20 overs as Pradeep Airee and Manjeet Shrestha claimed two wickets each. Jitendra Mukhiya, Amrit Bhattarai and Sagar Pun took a wicket each.
Shahbaz was the topscorer for Talwar Cricket Club as he struck 40 runs off 25 balls with five fours and two sixes. Ishan Makkar added 30 runs off 29 balls while Akash Shethi struck 22 runs off 16 balls.
In reply, Malla clobbered an unbeaten 54 runs off 36 balls to guide Nepal to the victory target in 19.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. Malla struck eight fours in his anchoring innings. Sagar Pun hit 36 runs off 28 balls with three fours and two sixes. Manjeet Shrestha remained unbeaten on 27 runs off 12 balls. In his blistering innings, Shrestha hit three fours and two sixes. Binod Bhandari chipped in with invaluable 14 runs off 17 balls.
Dalip Gautam and Shahbaz claimed two wickets each for Talwar Cricket Club.
Nepali batsman Malla was adjudged the man-of-the-match.
Nepali national team is preparing for the ACC T20 Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from March 26 to April 3. Nepal will then compete in the Division 3 tournament in Bermuda scheduled for April 28 to May 5.
