KATHMANDU: Madhesi Mukti Tigers, a Tarai-based armed outfit, said Friday afternoon that the group is ready to sit for peace negotiations with the government. Tigers leader, Tufan Singh, telephoned journalists in Kathmandu to say he was ready for talks. This follows the first round of talks between the government and another armed group from Tarai, Madhesi Virus Killers Party, on Thursday. Singh´s talks offer comes two days after five Mukti Tigers cadres were arrested from tourist hub of Thamel in the capital.
