Speaking at a press meet organized by Sadbhavana party in Rajbiraj on Thursday, he claimed his party has given priority for the Madhesh´s development.[break]
Tiwari blamed the government that it has not been sincere over the Madheshi issues. "The next movement will be that of development for Madhesh," he said. "All Madhesh based political forces should determine not to join the government unless the whole madhesh´s financial and physical development was made" he added.
Tiwari and his party leaders and cadres withdrew the hunger strike on Wednesday evening after the Department of Road expressed commitment to construct the Bhardaha-Hanumannagar road section.
Police arrested Tiwari, his party leaders and cadres from Bhardaha while they were demonstrating on the road demanding for the maintenance of the road in dilapidated condition.
