KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Foreign Minister of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn today reached Kathmandu on a two-day formal visit to Nepal. He is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with his Nepali counterpart Pradeep Kumar Gyawali at the latter's office today itself.

Similarly, Minister Gyawali will host a luncheon in honor of Minister Asselborn, and special reception on behalf of Luxembourg will be organized today on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Luxembourg, it has been said. Minister Asselborn is also scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Thursday.

Joint Secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Nepal Nirmal Raj Kafle and high officials and honorary counsel of Luxembourg Shree Ram Lamichhane among others welcomed Minister Asselborn at the special lounge of Tribhuvan International Airport.
