RAJBIRAJ, Sept 7: Central Chairperson of the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP), Mahantha Thakur has been recommended as a candidate of the party for the House of Representatives elections from Saptari constituency-4 under the first-past-the-post category.
A regional gathering of the party held at a meeting hall of the District Coordination Committee, Saptari, had recommended his name for the HoR election scheduled for November 20, LSP central leader Gajendra Mandal shared.

The gathering also recommended another central leader of the party Jaya Prakash Thakur for HoR election under the first-past-the-post category.
Among others recommended for HoR members under proportional representation system include Dulara Devi Khadga, Amarkanta Jha, Lila Gupta, Pabitri Devi and Hem Mishra, the party sources said.
