JSP-N Chair Yadav meets LSP Chair Thakur, seeks support to form coalition govt in Madhesh

KATHMANDU, May 13: Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal (JSP-N) Chairman Upendra Yadav met with Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) Chairman Mahantha Thakur, after resigning as Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister.

KATHMANDU, May 13: Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal (JSP-N) Chairman Upendra Yadav met with Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) Chairman Mahantha Thakur, after resigning as Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister.


In a meeting at Thakur's residence, Yadav urged Thakur to collaborate and advance the formation of a government in Madhesh Province.

This meeting comes after the Maoist Center and CPN-UML withdrew their support to the JSP-Nepal-led government in Madhesh Province. 


According to LSP sources, Thakur said he would consider the proposal.
