KATHMANDU, Dec 16: A full court meeting of the Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday decided to enforce scheduling hearings of cases through the lottery system from January 16, 2022.

According to SC Spokesperson Baburam Dahal, the meeting decided to determine dates for hearing through the lottery system at high courts and district courts from January 16 and direct the apex court administration to prepare and present the draft of regulation and directive to the full court meeting for amendment.
The lottery system has been put in place for scheduling cases at the apex court since December 1.
