Looters injure three in Kanchanpur

MAHENDRANAGAR, Sept 16: An armed group looted eight houses in Daija-5 of Kanchanpur on Tuesday night. Three people were injured, one critically, when the looters opened fire on them.



The group of around 20 people stormed the village at midnight. Lal Bahadur Singh, 68, Gagan Patali, 71, and Lalit Bohara were injured in the shootout.







Critically injured Bohara is being treated at Mahakali Zonal Hospital.



The looters made away with 22 tolas of gold and cash, the police said.
