KATHMANDU, Feb 25: Locals of Bhaise VDC near Kulekhani-III hydropower project in Makwanpur district padlocked the project on Tuesday demanding employment for the locals, The Kathmandu Post reported.

The locals demanded a annulling of appointments made by political bodies.

The latest shutdown comes soon after a five-day closure by employees at the project demanding higher wages.
