KATHMANDU, April 1: The loan sharking victims, who have been struggling on the streets of Kathmandu for a few days, have reached Baluwatar to hold a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
The victims of loan sharking reached his official residence in Baluwatar this morning at the invitation of Prime Minister Dahal
Even when they entered the Prime Minister's residence, they raised slogans saying that justice should be given to the loan sharking victims.
The government has formed a committee to negotiate with the victims who came to Kathmandu to seek justice. The talks held on Friday at the Ministry of Home Affairs have reached closer to the agreement.
The negotiations between the two sides have been postponed until this afternoon. The next round of negotiations to be held after the meeting with Prime Minister Dahal is likely to seal a deal.
Three people were arrested from Dhanusha only on Friday after the protest of the loan sharking victims.
