KATHMANDU, March 29: The Nepal Investment Summit 2019 is currently underway at Hotel Soaltee in the capital. As part of the summit, the first plenary session titled "Investment opportunities in Nepal" is now going on.
On the occasion, entrepreneur Suraj Vaidya said that Nepal has respectable economic growth of 6%. "There were 3 levels of elections with 70% turn-out. We have now a politically stable government and now people are looking forward to see the promises of the economic agendas delivered," he said.

Revenue Secretary at the Ministry of Finance Lal Shanker Ghimire said that the ministry is planning to sign Bilateral Investment Protection Promotion Agreement with more countries in the days to come.
Various speakers are delivering presentations during the session chaired by Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali.
